§ 26-44. Injunctive relief.

  • If preventive or corrective measures are not taken in accordance with any order of the hearing board, or if the environmental control officer finds that a violation of the provisions of this act [article] exists so as to create an emergency requiring immediate action to protect human health or welfare, the environmental control officer may institute proceedings in the Circuit Court for Palm Beach County to enforce this act [article] or rules or orders pursuant thereto. Such injunctive relief may include both temporary and permanent injunctions. Any proceedings initiated under this section shall be brought for and in the name of the Authority.
